North through the Middle Atlas, via the cedar forests of Ifrane and Azrou, to Fez.
Day 3 — Fez
A full day in Fez's medina, the largest car-free urban area in the world, including the Chouara tanneries and historic madrasas.
Day 4 — Fez to Meknes
A short drive to Meknes, with a stop at the Roman ruins of Volubilis on the way.
Day 5 — Meknes to Rabat
On to Rabat, Morocco's capital: the Kasbah of the Udayas, the Hassan Tower and the Royal Palace.
Day 6 — Rabat to Casablanca
South to Casablanca to see the Hassan II Mosque and the Atlantic corniche.
Day 7 — Casablanca to Marrakech
