Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1 — Marrakech to Zagora
We leave Marrakech and cross the High Atlas over the Tizi n'Tichka pass, stopping at the Ait Ben Haddou kasbah and Ouarzazate before following the palm groves of the Draa Valley down to Zagora. In the late afternoon we ride camels into the dunes for sunset and spend the night in a desert camp.
Day 2 — Return to Marrakech
Sunrise over the dunes, breakfast at camp, then the drive back over the Tizi n'Tichka to Marrakech, arriving in the evening.
