Morocco Trekking
Walking is the slowest and often the best way to understand Morocco: mountain paths, gorges, palm valleys and desert edges.

From gentle day walks to multi-day treks, we design routes to match your fitness, pace and the season. Local guides lead the way and transport meets you at the trailhead.
Send us your dates, group size and the kind of landscape you love. We will propose a route and what to bring.

Day 1 – Imlil to Toubkal refuge
Drive from Marrakech to Imlil (1,740 m), meet the mule team and hike 5–6 hours via Sidi Chamharouch shrine to the Neltner refuge at 3,207 m.
Day 2 – Summit day
Start early for the 4,167 m summit (4–5 hours up), views over the High Atlas and Sahara edge, then descend to Imlil and return to Marrakech.
Day 3 – Berber villages (optional)
A gentler walk through Armed, Tamatert and Tizi Mzik with Berber tea in a family home before the transfer back.
Mountain Massifs
Toubkal (4,167 m)
The highest massif of the High Atlas and of North Africa, 60 km south of Marrakech and close to the Sahara. It is sunny most of the year, and the altitude keeps temperatures pleasant for hiking even in midsummer. Programmes: the Tour du Toubkal, the balconies and villages of Toubkal, and the Toubkal ascent.
M'Goun (4,068 m)
The second-highest massif of the Atlas, very different from Toubkal: massive mountains bordered by high cliffs, with wide, airy and carefully cultivated valleys. Hikes come at three levels: supported (7–8 hours of walking a day), medium (5–6 hours) and easy (4–5 hours). Good physical condition and walking shoes are needed; luggage is carried by mules.
Massif Saghro (2,600 m)
Walking 5 to 6 hours a day with Berber guides, you cross an uncommon landscape of gorges and rocky peaks, some resembling those of the Algerian Hoggar, with waterfalls, white broom, gardens and granaries, fragrant gorse and palm groves. Evenings are for banjo and bendir music.
Jebel Sirwa (3,305 m)
An 8-day trip with 5 days of hiking, mainly in spring and autumn. Sirwa sits where the High Atlas meets the Anti-Atlas: a granite-and-volcanic massif of over 3,300 m where mineral and desert worlds merge, with big pastures on its northern side where Berber families bring their herds from March. Highlights are the volcanic landscape, the high pastures, the ascent of Jebel Sirwa and views of the snow-covered High Atlas. Walking is 4–5 hours a day on mule trails over uneven terrain; luggage travels by mule.
