4 Days 3 Nights Camel Trek: Sidi Naji, Erg Ezzahar & Bartam

Day-by-Day Itinerary

1. Day 1 — M'Hamid to Sidi Naji

   When everything loaded on camels, the caravan will start from M'Hamid. After 3 hours of walking, you will have lunch near to a palm shade. A little nap finished, you will continue the caravan to arrive in the evening to the dunes of Sidi Naji (Tomb of a marabout). The bivouac will mounted, and the meal will be prepared, the 1st night of dreams under the stars begin.

2. Day 2 — The Hamada & Erg Ezzahar

   The camp will be dismantled and camels loaded, you will continue the caravan passing on a large desert of stones, a hamadas. Lunch will be taken in a tamarisk and after a siesta, you will continue to erg Ezzahar, the howling dunes. Dinner around a campfire with nomadic entertainments and other night under the stars.

3. Day 3 — Toward the Bartam Dunes

   After breakfast you will follow the caravan. Other tamarisk to lend their shadows for lunch before continuing to the dunes Bartam to mount the camp one last time. Last night under the stars.

4. Day 4 — El Bour & Return to M'Hamid

   Another effort in those beautiful landscapes in the desert to have lunch on the dunes of El Bour. After the nap under the warm sunshine, you will continue to follow the caravan to M'Hamid. Farewell caravan and return to civilization. --
