Itinerario
Early departure from Fez. Drive through Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping at Ifrane (Little Switzerland) and Azrou (Cedar forest with Barbary monkeys). Pass the Ziz Valley, Erfoud, and Rissani. Arrive in Merzouga. Sunset camel ride to the dunes and overnight in a Berber desert camp.
Optional sunrise camel trek over the dunes. Drive to Todra Gorge for hiking and photos. Continue to the Dades Valley, known as the “Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs.” Overnight in a riad/hotel in Dades or nearby.
ravel through the Valley of Roses (if in season, April–May). Stop at Ouarzazate and explore Kasbah Taourirt. Visit Aït Ben Haddou, UNESCO World Heritage Site. Cross the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Arrive in Marrakech in the evening.
