Zagora Day Trip Erg Lihoudi

Departure at 07:30 Zagora to Erg Lihoudi, called « Jew’s Dune ». Passage through Tamgroute where we visit the Koranic library and pottery workshops. Then we come to M’Hamid about 11:00 to 2 hours until the camel Erg Lihodi where we have lunch around 13:00. It then returns the track to 15:00 until G’bel ben sel’maan then the road to Zagora, where we arrived around 17:30.

The road through Asni and Tahanaoute. Then we will take a track that will take us to the Ourika Valley. You can admire beautiful landscapes and hidden Berber villages. We will have lunch in a local restaurant, then return back through Marrakech Ourika, known for its minerals and ceramics.

Discover the medina and souks, or madrasah Bou Inania Attarine then Nejarine square with its magnificent fountain decorated with mosaics.

Lunch in a former palace of Medina.

Visit the popular art museum Batha * * Royal Palace and tombs Mérinides where we have a view overlooking the city and its ramparts.

Day 4 Fez – Marrakech

Departure to Marrakech via Ifrane famous ski resort in the middle of the Middle Atlas COEURE of a forest of cedars.

Lunch in Beni Mellal. Clin d’oil was the source ain Assourdoune.

Continuation to Marrakech.

Day 5 Marrakech

This morning will be dedicated to the red city tour Marrakech, the oldest imperial city of Morocco known as the ‘Pearl of the South’ the city was founded by the Almoravides at the end of 11 century.

The historical sightseeing includes the splendid monuments of the town red: the Saadian tombs, the Bahia Palace, the Koutoubia and the Menara jardines.

In the afternoon: discovery walks with spices, souks (potters, jewelers, dyers) and the famous Jaam El Fna.

Dinner and overnight in Marrakech.

Day 6 Marrakech

One more day Marrakech to explore the rest of the red city.

Optional excursion to Essaouira.

Day 7 Marrakech – airport

Rissani Merzouga Day Trip

Morning tour of the small town of Rissani, the old souk, its agricultural products, and spices. Also visit the old Kasbah and the ruins of Sijilmassa, the ancient city that was the crossroads of ancient caravans’ precious salt. Visit of the port and its walls, but also the old Medina and “Scala”. Once in port, you can eat fresh fish in a local restaurant. You will have the opportunity to make a camel ride on the beach (not included). fter a hearty Moroccan breakfast, the departure will be from your hotel in Ouarzazate towards the palm of Ouarzazate, visit the kasbah Amerhidil, ancient building 17th century and residence of the family of Glaoui. Continue to the city of roses, Kelaa or runs the festival of roses every May of each year. We cross the Dades Valley to reach Tinghir which houses an old Jewish quarter (Mellah).
