6-Tage-Tour: Ouarzazate – Erg Chegaga – Zagora – Merzouga – Dadès-Tal

Tag-für-Tag-Reiseverlauf

1. Tag 1 — Ouarzazate – Taznakht – Foum Zguit – Iriki – Chegaga

   Departure for the Morocco tours with the excursion in the morning from Ouarzazate to Foum Zguit via Taznakhte. Lunch in Foum Zguit. In the afternoon we will join Chegaga, we will visit nomads living under canvas, and you will cross by the dry lake of Iriqui and the desert plateau of the Akassia. Arrival in the evening at the desert of Chegaga to see the sunset. Dinner and night in bivouac under canvas.

2. Tag 2 — Chegaga – M'Hamid – Tamgrout – Zagora

   Wake up early in the morning to see the sunrise on the desert. After breakfast, track to M'Hamid by way of the sacred Oasis of Oum Laalag. Lunch in M'Hamid. In the afternoon, departure towards Tagounite and Tamgroute (visit of Zaouïa: old Koranic library, pottery craftsmen and an underground Kasbah). Road to Zagora where we sleep. Dinner and night in a hotel.

3. Tag 3 — Zagora – Vallee De Draa – Tansihkt – Nkob – Tazarine – Alnif – Rissani – Merouga

   After breakfast, departure from Zagora by way of the Draa valley towards Tansikht and Nkob where you will cross wonderful pre-Saharan landscapes scattered with Berber villages. Lunch in Alnif, then continuation towards the impressive dunes of Merzouga via Rissani (cradle of the Alaouit dynasty). Arrival in the evening in Merzouga. Dinner and night in the inn.

4. Tag 4 — Merzouga – Erg Chebbi – Merzouga

   After breakfast, we go all the way round the dunes going through: the 2 oasis of MERZOUGA, the nomad deposit, the village of KHAMLIA (village of the blacks), the mines of MIFISS, the desert plateau to go to meet the Berber nomads of the desert, the oasis of TISSARDMINE. Return to the inn at around 3pm for the departure of your caravan on dromedaries in order to attend the sunset in the dunes. We spend the night in a wild oasis located at two hoursí walk right in the middle of the desert. Dinner and night in bivouac under canvas.

5. Tag 5 — Merzouga – Erfoud – Ziz Valley – Errachidia – Goulmima – Tinjdad – Tinghir – Toudra Gorges

   Wake up early in the morning to see the sunrise on the desert; return on dromedary at the foot of the dunes. After breakfast, departure for the huge palm grove of Tafilalet going through the city of Rissani (former capital of the Alaouites sultans and the big souk of the south) and the city of Erfoud to take the road towards the Ziz valley, lunch in the heart of the valley. In the afternoon, we will join Tinghir via Goulmima and the palm grove of Tinjdad. Dinner and night in an hotel in Tinghir.

6. Tag 6

   Toudra gorges- Bouamlne - Dades valley - Dades gorges - Roses valley - Kelaa M'Gouna - Skoura - Ouarzazate. Departure in the morning to go exploring the Gorges of Toudra and those of the Dades by the tarred road. Lunch in the last gorges. In the afternoon, we will take the road which crosses the rosesí valley and which leads to the rosesí capital Kalaa M'gouna. Then, we will join the palm grove of Skoura and the Kasbah of Amredhyle. Road to Ouarzazate.
