Departure at 7:30 am at your hotel through the largest mountain range in North Africa by the Tizi N’Tichka at 2260m, an ideal place for those who love hiking. On the course, you will see best panoramic views over the Berber villages of the High Atlas mountains and fertile valleys sites. Visit the salt mine in the valley Ounila and the kasbah Glaoui in Telouet and its Palace. Arrival in Ait Ben Haddou Ksar, site classified by the World Heritage of UNESCO. The village of Ait Ben Haddou is located in the region of Souss Massa Draa, on a hill along the Ouarzazate River salt, it was an important stop for traders carrying gold, salt and slaves along the famous caravan route, moving through the Sahara. Lawrence of Arabia and Jesus of Nazareth were shot here. The entire lower part of the village was rebuilt. In recent years, more food control was performed under the intervention of UNESCO. Lunch is planned at a local restaurant in Ouarzazate followed by the visit of the kasbah of Taourirt. In the afternoon, drive to the town of Agdez, the old fort, through the Tizi N’Tinifift to 1710 m. Thus begins the Draa valley, the longest river in the kingdom, bordered from the north by Djebel Saghro, east by north reassembled Jebel Bani, the south by the Hamada du Draa and west by the massif of the Anti Atlas. Continue to the religious center of Tamegrout and its library which houses ancient manuscripts, 7 km further to reach the first Tinfou sand dunes where we spend the night in a bivouac under nomad tent, possibility to take a walk on dromedary .
Wake up early in the morning to enjoy the beautiful sunrise on the dunes of Tinfou follow a typical breakfast and return to Zagora. The road continues through the bridge Tansikht and the upper part of the Draa Valley to reach the old Ksar Tamnougalt on the right bank of Oued Draa, lunch in a local restaurant of an old kasbah. Continuation to Ouarzazate and then cross the Tichka again to reach the red city of Marrakech around 18h.
