Itinerary

At 10:00 in the morning, guests gather in Zagora, the “gateway to the Sahara.” After a briefing and supply check, the caravan departs at 14:00, riding camels toward the first desert camp. Dinner is served at 19:00 under the stars, followed by an introduction to nomadic traditions.

The day begins at 06:30 with a camel ride through the dunes. By 09:00, breakfast is shared in the camp before heading to a palm grove oasis. Lunch with a nomadic family at 13:00, then return to camp at 17:30 for music and firelight.

At 08:00, the expedition leaves by 4×4 through the Draa Valley. Stops include Kasbah Amridil, with lunch at 12:30 in Skoura. The evening camp is set in a desert wadi by 18:00, where stories are shared around the fire.

Breakfast at 07:00, then a drive to Tamegroute, home to the ancient library and green pottery workshops. By 15:00, guests settle into a village guesthouse in the Anti-Atlas foothills. Dinner at 19:00, followed by tea with locals.

Departure at 07:30, winding mountain roads reveal vast panoramas. Lunch picnic at 12:00 in a high-altitude valley. Arrival at Erg Chigaga dunes at 16:00. Sunset camel ride and overnight in a luxury tented camp.

A full desert day. Sunrise walk at 06:00, nomadic bread-making at 09:00, camel trek at 11:00, and rest during the heat. Evening sand-boarding at 17:00 before dinner at 20:00 under a star-drenched sky.

At 08:00, the journey continues to Foum Zguid, with stops at fossil sites and dry river beds. Lunch at 13:00 in the desert. Arrival in Foum Zguid at 17:00. Overnight in a small kasbah guesthouse.

Departure at 07:00. Drive deeper into remote oases; visit semi-nomadic families at 11:00. Afternoon walk among palm groves, arrival at 18:00 in a camp near an ancient ksar. Dinner with desert musicians.

The day begins at 06:30 with birdwatching in the dunes. Exploration of desert plateaus until 14:00, followed by rest. Sunset photography at 18:00, then stargazing workshop until late night.

At 08:00, the convoy turns back toward Zagora. Stops include pottery, small villages, and desert viewpoints. Arrival at 16:00, farewell dinner at 19:30 in a traditional riad.

Breakfast at 08:00. A final stroll through Zagora’s souk at 09:30, before departure transfers at 11:00.
